Area Attractions – Local and Regional

Pecos has lots of cool sites to visit . . . we invite you to place historic Pecos on your list of hot spots to visit along the trail!

Home of the World’s First Rodeo – that annual event – The West of the Pecos Rodeo is held each year at the end of June. See Pecos Slices for dates.

Our famous West of the Pecos Museum, houses the fun, factual and famous archives and exhibits that tell the story of Pecos – past and present. Additional “Visitor Information” may be found there as well.

The Park at the West of the Pecos Museum  is a great visitor destination in itself. Housing historic exhibits and a large park and entertainment area, it is also the site of many Pecos festivals.
